We just destroyed the Clippers... this is the game I have been waiting for. The final was Mavs 115 - Clips 83. Hahaha, this Clippers team has taken a nosedive lately for us to be up 36.Anyway, Dirk was awesome. People always say he is soft. I don't see that at all. He is a true fighter. I don't know his exact numbers, but I'm sure he had a double-double tonight. He had 20 points, I think. And he did it with a bum ankle. If that is soft, I'd like to see hard.Another big player tonight was Devean George. Damn, I don't know... we might have picked up a steal here. He's been great tonight and the other night against Seattle. He had 21 points tonight in 20 minutes. And no one had more minutes than Josh Howard with 30. Pretty impressive.
I was waiting for an ass kicking. Even better since all those ESPN fuckers doubt the Mavs when Dirk had his so called "injury" when they played the Sonics. I always enjoy a player with a less small role do something spectacular. I wouldnt consider him a steal, but his 21 points just shows that he can contribute. Another dub for Dirk
Good...I was hoping the Clippers would loose this one. Like I have said before, any Clipper loss is like a Laker win as in the happiness I feel. Nice game for the Mavs they played a together and even my old buddy George came through for them.

Most of the Mavs fans here didn't really seem to care for him too much. There was talk about grabbing guys like Bonzi Wells and Mike James (who by the way are both worthless assholes), but picking up George has proven to be a more worthwhile move, I think. He might not be as consistent, but if he can put up numbers like tonight every once in a while, I'm happy. I'd rather have him over Wells and James, even though he is a former Laker.
Yeah, we played really well tonight. Everyone got some playing time. I watched the 2nd half. This win, with the combonation of the Rockets win over the Spurs give make us tied with SA atop the Southwest Division. We are both 20-7 I believe. Good win for us against a pretty good team.

And I'm also glad to see us up there with SA, but I don't put too much stock into it yet.The Clippers, however, aren't all that great right now. 5 losses in a row now... the only good thing about beating them is how much ass we kicked while doing it. And we needed to do that after how we played against the Sonics. The comeback win there was good, but it wasn't championship-caliber play at all. Tonight was, I think.

But his defense and rebounding will be there consistently every night. His added offense is just bonus. In my mind he's turning into Robert Horry, in that he started out as 3, but is transistioning nicely into a 4. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Most of the Mavs fans here didn't really seem to care for him too much. Moreso for James as I didn't think Wells was a realistic possibility. George is one of those guys who gets signed in the later months of the offseason and pays dividends. As with Diop in the past year. Even though, had we resigned Griffin, I think #40 wouldn't be on the Mavs.
Hopefully you know now that Harris>Livingston. Livingston is overrated. It was Cassell last year that brought the Clippers to a higher level. Cassell getting benched has hurt them.
