Once again, the Clippers pull out a close win with the help of inspired bench play. Matt Barnes, in only his second career game as a pro, played with the poise and proficiency of a veteran leader. In addition to Barnes awesome performance, Eddie House also chipped in for a dozen points and 4 dimes, while shooting 5-5 from the field. After digging themselves their customary hole to climb out of, the Clippers made another strong second-half comeback overcoming a 65-54 halftime deficit to beat the Warriors. The regulars also contributed as usual, Brand did have somewhat of an off-night shooting, but nearly recorded a triple-double with 16 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists. But, as usual, the Clippers bench played the key role in bringing them the victory. Barnes finished his night off with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 2 steals in 24 minutes of play. And Doug Overton also hit an important jumpshot in the last minute of play which increased the Clipper lead to four and ultimately prevented the Warriors from tying the score at 104.
