The defending NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs come to STAPLES Center on Sunday, January 6, and the Clippers host their building rivals the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, February 23 (NBATV) and Thursday, April 10. The Clippers will be the visiting team against the Lakers on Sunday, December 16 in the first meeting between the teams and on Friday, March 7. </p>

Los Angeles is scheduled for 12 nationally-televised games in 2007-08, appearing on ESPN (4 games), TNT (1 game) and NBATV (7 games).</div></p>

On Saturday, January 12 the Clippers will make STAPLES Center history when they host the Dallas Mavericks at 7:30 p.m., hours after the NHL&rsquo;s Los Angeles Kings and Dallas Stars will have finished facing off at STAPLES Center. The games mark the first time in the history of STAPLES Center that two visiting teams from the same city have played on the same day in different sports. </p>

Other highlights of the schedule include a visit from Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony&rsquo;s Denver Nuggets on November 21 and April 8, and the revamped Boston Celtics featuring Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce coming to STAPLES Center on February 25.</div></p>

<font color="#000080"> I am glad that the Clippers have to play the Spurs and Rockets only 3 times since they always struggle against both teams. Not happy that the Clippers only play the Sonics 3 times, thats 3 easy wins there and I would have been pleased if it was 4 easy wins. </font></p>

 

I agree, the Clips will need all the help they can get this year, starting with the schedule.
