Great preview, I think it's kind of laughable that someone so lazy and so useless is being put on Carter, let alone him being a starter. His shot's gone, and that's all he had. I especially like the fact that Marshall will be on Brand if man to man is used, another chance to prove his worth as he'll be facing one of the best. Tough to say, it's pretty even, I think Clippers will dominate the boards though so I say Clippers by around 3ish.
Clipps by 5 They won't screw up a game that the Raps will throw at them like they did with Cleveland.
Raptors by 7. I don't think they'll play two really bad games in a row at home, and the Clips don't have a suitable defensive match-up for Carter. I also don't think Brand will dominate Marshall either, who has averaged a double double since being traded.
With Maggette out I will go with the Raptors by 6 Brand won't be stopped inside but the trio of Carter,Rose and Marshall should be enough.
Richardson isnt playing, i dont know what happened but the Clippers are up 55-45 w/2 left in the 3rd...Chris Wilcox is playing huge, he has 17 points on 8-10 shooting, Brand has 15 points on 6-10 shooting, VC has 10 and Jalen has 11
Clippers win 78-68 Chris Wilcox was huge tonight with 17, Brand ended with 19... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> With his team shorthanded, Elton Brand filled the void with another big game as the Los Angeles Clippers posted a 78-68 triumph over the Toronto Raptors. With Corey Maggette serving the second game of his two-game suspension and Quentin Richardson sidelined with a sprained right wrist, Brand scored 19 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and keyed a decisive burst to open the second half. </div> http://www.nba.com/games/20040109/LACTOR/recap.html" target="_blank">Recap</a> Box Score
Wait, so let me get this straight, no Richardson, no Maggette, and the Clippers win? That is scary, watch out for this team.
