OK here's the senario. 5 seconds left 2 points in it. Your playing against a team with either Kobe, Ray Allen, LBJ or Wade . Would you rather have the ball and be behind or not have the ball but have the lead and give one of these guys a chance to beat you?
Well, I would of course take the 2 point lead because that would just be the smart thing to do. But if I did have the lead, the player on the other team that I would want to shoot the ball would be Ray Allen over those other players. Even though Ray has one of the best 3 balls in the league, Kobe and Wade, and LBJ could beat you by making a good pass to an open teammate, by getting to the basket, or by even pulling up.So I would of course take the lead and let the other players try and beat me because it would be the smart thing to do, and I would want Ray to shoot it over the other players.
