The closing ceremony is in November. It will cap off the life of the most historical stadium in North America, and one of the tops in the world. Turns out that my school marching band is playing at the closing ceremony! They'll be backing up whoever is doing the national anthem. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I am jealous of the marching band kids =O What are your favorite memories of Yankee Stadium? Favorite game you attended? Who do you think will be at the ceremony?
Seeing as how it's the Yankees, i expect it to be huge. Especially since we're not making the playoffs, it should be pretty cool closing the stadium.
