No doubt to all the above, less your take on Fiorina, who came off IMO way to far as a Feminist First. Trying of course to win the Women's vote, as She sounded ridiculous. WTF- who would she ask to run as VP? Gloria Allred, or the old bag Gloria Steinem; that would NOT surprise me.......!

I'm putting the brown bag over Fiorinas mugshot......not what this Nation needs, at this time.

Yep, Rubio and Cruz hit home runs, sticking to specifics in lieu of The Don's bullshit Rhetoric.......

Anywhere I can watch it online after the fact?

I was looking forward to see Cruz, Carly, Carson, & Rubio. Surprised about Christie as well.

Did Rand Paul still seem angry?

    Trump still crazy?

Watching it now... What was up with Trump's jab at Paul?

And according to the rankings, Christie's #1???? Really? I hadn't seen these polls

I'm loving the fact that Rubio isn't running for re-election for senate as he's all in for this race... I wish all others were like that in similar situations...

    My thoughts on the debate:

    On the debate format:

I don’t get the ranking… I didn’t know where Christie was ranked first… What poll
    did they use?

Participants weren’t given enough time to talk on topics… and maybe fewer topics with more time would have been better.

    On the participants:

Gov. Christie really impressed. I was truly impressed by him. Far better than the last debate. He seemed even more conservative in the debate than I believe he actually is.

Senator Rubio really impressed me as well. I also really like the fact that Rubio isn’t running for reelection in the senate as he’s all in for the race… It shows.

Dr. Carson was still quiet. He had had some great quiet quips. Some great points, IMO, and if he didn’t have the lackadaisical impression I’m sure he’s giving some people. He was well spoken, but I’m not sure he did enough.

Senator Cruz was rock solid but didn’t speak enough and I’m not sure he did enough to help his cause… He was articulate, but, again, I’m not sure he did enough.

Gov. Huckabee was too quiet and I don’t think did enough to gain a top spot.

Carly Fiorina has some good ideas, but ultimately, I can’t see her getting elected. People wanted a first black man elected and that didn’t work out well… same goes here, but she’s definitely a better option than Monica’s ex-boyfriend’s wife.

Gov. Jeb Bush sounded good, Carly sounded good.

Gov. Kasich seemed solid, but I still don’t know enough about him even though that’s what he wanted to get across.

Gov. Walker didn’t seem to talk much, and I don’t see him lasting in the debates
long, but he has some great ideas.

Senator Rand Paul seemed less hostile last time, but still unelectable IMO

Trump continues to make a pompous ass of himself and a circus of all the debates. He is only an entertainer who won’t be of help this country in the right direction. Him talking on vaccinations with Ben Carson seems rather hysterical. He knows nothing about science.

In all, I think Cruz, Rubio, and Christie were great last night and should be up
for final consideration. Christie, Carson, Trump, Fiorina, Bush, and Kasich are TBD as of now… I think Paul, Walker, and Huckabee won’t go much further…

1- I don't know of any poll either, that has Gov. Christie as #1

2- Trump is a effing Liar. He was right on 1 thing, "there's too many people up here who shouldn't be"......I did get a chuckle out of his 1 percent comment, aimed at Paul. Trump has a mean spirit, who thinks he's telling it like it is, but going way over board in doing so. IMO, Trump will be the victim of his own drowning, in these debates, and eventually in the Polls. I can't foresee American Voters putting Donald in the White House, yet, ya' never know, bandwagons, often put Candidates in office, but his will lose a wheel before this is all done......t

3- IMO, if One watches Christie at the 1:21:21 mark on the viedo, I thought the Gov. Hit the Nail on the head moment, good summation by Christie....

3A- I'd like to see a hour long interview with the Governor, so I can better understand, what His Platform is really about. Seem's tho' like he's aligned with the GOP Stance, or re-aligning himself, to stress or reveal his Conservative Line. I don't know enough about Christie's overall Politics out here on the Left Coast Libtardville State......My oldest Son lives in Howell, NJ.; yet He doesn't follow Politics, and can't tell me one single thing about His Governor, now that's sad.....IMO...

I'd really like to know more about Christie, I do like what little I've seen out of Christie, yet (again) I've not heard enough about the Gov.

3B/D- IMO, I think these two, Rubio and Cruz could both make good President's, especially if one of the 2 wins the GOP Primary nod, I'd expect Rubio to ask Cruz to be his running mate, or Cruz as Pres., with Rubio as VP, either way, I see both as a win win......I'd expect both to add Christie to their Cabinet......

3C- Carson is too laid back, yet calm is necessary, unlike the over outspoken nut that is Trump....Even tho' its too early, I don't think Carson stands a chance, barring a miracle.....No Political background either.......I'd not be surprised to see a Trump/Carson ticket, tho' I really doubt that would happen. If it did, I'd not be happy....

3E- Carly, IMO, is stressing too much the Feminist Stance. Nothing wrong with empowering Women, but I felt she was only speaking to the female audience only.....plus HP is a fine PC company, although this ex-HP-CEO, outsourced more jobs than she will ever admit. I despise out sourcing American Jobs.....

3F- "Master of the Deal"??? I don't trust this guy at all.......Any Candidate who is playing on words, like: "I never filed for bankruptcy". If he were talking about His Personal Life, that would be true. Yet, nothing is more further than the truth, with Donald's lie. In fact-
"The facts don't back that comment up." - "Trump has never filed for personal bankruptcy. But he has filed four business bankruptcies, which Bankruptcy.com says makes Trump the top filer in recent decades. All of them were centered around casinos he used to own in Atlantic City."

I don't see any difference b/t His bankruptcies, as his business losses, & Chapter 11, benefited Him Personally....

To much Rhetoric, not enough Specific details.........typical of Trump....!

    http://money.cnn.com/2015/08/31/news/companies/donald-trump-bankruptcy/

Once the pack is thinned down, we will begin to see the rise of those who did well last night, and the fall of The Don.....

Ok, IMO, Christie said all the right things all debate long! I agree wrt Cruz/Rubio. And I didn't get the feminist vibe at all from Carly

PS- one thing I forgot to mention is: IMHO, the best Candidate for the Job wasn't even on stage, and isn't running.....

that would be General Colin Powell, who's resume, makes all other on the podium look weak......

Powell's been in Politics alot longer than any of these others, serving Presidents since He returned from Nam in 68, and served under Nixon with a "fellowship" or a the don would say, an apprentice......

    http://sourcesofinsight.com/lessons-learned-from-colin-powell/

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colin_Powell

I can envision Powell, taking care of Trump readily and quit quickly too......

Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers, who can cut through argument, debate and doubt, to offer a solution everybody can understand.
    Colin Powell

Leadership is solving problems. The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help or concluded you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership.
    Colin Powell

Howell, NJ? Lived there from age seven to 18. Folks still do.

Pundits today score the Debate: Fiorina, Rubio, Christie.

I can't get past the Christie hug of Obama in 2012 after Sandy. And Bridgegate is a minefield like Hillary's server. Carly isn't playing the woman card, she's just sticking a harpoon in Trump after his Rolling Stone attack on her. As for outsourcing jobs....there found better engineers willing to work for less overseas. Protecting shareholders saves more jobs in the long run...sorry but that's how economics works in a free market.

Rubio is just solid on the dynamics of the world, sounds like a commander in chief should. I so wanted Tapper to let Cruz take on the global warming. He gets pegged as ultra right, but I love his answer to that characterization.... I'm for the Constitution and the rule of law, that should be considered moderate.

Cruz-Rubio, Rubio-Cruz, or either with Carly as the veep could work. Carson hurt himself being against invasion of Afghanistan after 9/11. Of course the Donald was against the Iraq war....someone missed the opportunity to point out he was a Dem in 2003.

In the day we sweat it out on the streets of a runaway American dream
At night we ride through the mansions of glory in suicide machines
Sprung from cages out on highway 9,
Chrome wheeled, fuel injected, and steppin' out over the line

I can say for a fact that I lived & survived those lines....20 years after the Boss did. Real down to earth guy, HS buddy with my uncle....who just so happened to make a living building suicide machines, lol!

Ah- You indeed got to live the American Dream, (on suicide machines, on top of that).........me 2......
Born to Run was released in 75 to us music hungry heathens, with great acceptance, with many saying this dude (Bruce) is going to rule the roost with today's generation, way back then, anxiously anticipated LP. Landau hit a HR, but more-so So did Springsteen. It's cool you got to live that American Dream on Suicide Machines, which I was doing when the LP hit the air waves. 6 Million copies of Born to Run sold, debuted at #3 on Billboard. This was the break Bruce needed. the rest is good History.

Hey, next time you stop in to visit your Parents; maybe you look my eldest up to kick his ass for me........

This debate as the fox one was a disgrace as instead of asking pertinent questions to the candidate re: economy, immigration, isis etc questions were either gotcha questions to trump or questions directed to the candidates regarding comments trump made about them or something else not germaine to the situation. What a colossal waste of 3 hours. Need a format where the moderators are forced to ask the candidates only questions the public is interested in and when they deviate from that someone needs to come on the stage and kick them in the ass.
