Can you see Chauncey Billups becoming an NBA coach? I sure can. During games I always notice Chauncey directing players and giving them tips from the sidelines when he is on the bench. He is always involved in the game, and he is one of the best leaders in the NBA. I think that he has some of the qualities of a future NBA Head Coach, and maybe even one for the Pistons in the future.
Most point guards are like that so if you're trying to determine if he'd be a good coach, you need more than that to consider.
I definately could see him coach. Right after he retires, he could pull an Avery Johnson and coach.PF11, take off that Fighting Irish thing. Go Wolverines!
he doesn't need to coach, he would have already accomplished everything as a sports figure by the time he retires.
