<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">According to the schedule, the Hawks' season is supposed to end April 20 in Philadelphia. Hawks coach Mike Woodson wasn't so sure moments after their 111-91 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday at Philips Arena. After watching his team drop its 12th straight game, while giving up 100 or more points for the 12th straight game, Woodson wondered whether some members of his team have packed it in. "We're not playing," an exasperated Woodson said of his 11-62 team. "These last two games have been unacceptable. We're just not playing. It starts on the defensive end. It's another night we give up fifty-some points in the paint. You can't beat teams like that." Woodson was particularly rough on his veteran starters, all of whom were on the bench in the final minutes, for not doing their part. Al Harrington, Tyronn Lue and Obinna Ekezie combined for just 14 points, four rebounds and four assists while shooting a combined 4-for-19 from the floor. The bench outscored the starting five 51-40. And were it not for Josh Childress (23 points), that margin would have been even wider. "Our starters were just awful," Woodson said. "Al, Ekezie, they didn't give us a whole lot. I can't expect the rookies to carry this team. Al has to play, and Obinna is starting at the five for us; he has to step up and play. We didn't get that. Their interior [players] kicked our [tails]." </div> Source
