What an ass. She just won the silver medal and the guy is demoralizing her. She's only been in the sport for 4 years too. Idiot.
I really didn't think he was doing that at all. His athlete has been trying to beat the same unbeatable foe for years. I thought he was just giving her reasons why she wasn't able to win. He said she was too tired because she had to do more jumps than the champion because of the way the competition went. I think he was just trying to make her feel better. He said at the end that a Silver Medal is pretty good for somebody that's only been jumping for four years. I was really surprised when the announcer got all offended and I think he misinterpreted what the guy said.
