Bleacher Report as the LSU and Bama-tards are rushing to the Oregon Facilities page and bashing it. Jelly perhaps?

Just because of no titles, but BCS bowl wins?

Eugene, Oregon's sport facilities shits on anything the city of Portland has.

Great design and GREAT choice of materials that will age nicely.

If you aren't a Duck fan its your obligation to completely bash anything that makes the Ducks stand out... or at least that seems to be the internet opinion because all I'm reading is the same thing, people Hating. They are just jealous.

I'm seeing this quote all over the internet as being some sort of admission of corruption. Nike WAS STARTED at UO with Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. Knight used to drive around to track meets selling shoes from his trunk, and Bowerman used a waffle iron for the soles of the prototypes.

The one ironic part, to me, is that a school who culturally tries to project an image of liberalism and free thought within the campus community is actually one of the blueprint public universities for so-called capitalistic American Dream, which is innovation followed by hard work, and ultimately being loyal to what helped you on the path to success.

Nike wasn't started at the UO. Blue Ribbon Sports came first and the retail location was based in CA. Nike came around 1971 and simply utilized Oregon athletes as both Knight and Bowerman had UO connections. Bowerman (track coach at UO) tinkered with Tiger shoes and worked to improve the traction and weight. Knight was selling Tiger shoes out of his car, not Nikes. Even in the early years, Knight was working in Portland for an accounting firm.

    Your history is poor.
