I didn't catch the entire convo but MB said during the POR/DEN game that he's heard this name, as did Batum:

    :dunno:

Just like the draft, what do any of us really know about which top assistants are the best choice? At least with college/foreign prospects we can sometimes say we've seen them display whatever skills they possess, but with all of these assistants they sit on the bench next to a head coach and hold a clipboard, we don't get to see where they put all of their work in during practices and film sessions.

If he's qualified and Olshey decides he's the man, then who am I to argue?

Yeah I don't know anything about these assistant coaches or why they would or would not be good as our head coach. Absolutely no idea. I haven't seen anything posted about any of the candidates that changes that.

    No.

But, if you know who they've studied under for the past several years it means something IMO. Like Budenholzer, Pop's right hand man for the past several years. It doesn't always pan out, look at Rambis. But, Rambis could have been a product of a horrible roster.

Guys like Thibedeau and Malone are known league wide as defensive guru's.

Intriguing; as I have said before I think Olshey is looking for an entire staff dedicated to teaching, this guy looks like someone who would fit in.
