I had high hopes for Casey last season. He was a refreshing change from Triano. He had the team playing defence (for a while, at least). We were creating an identity. This year he had experience under his belt and a marginally better team and yet we were so terribly ineffective and flat for most of the season that I lost patience with him and I think so has everyone else. The takeaways from this season should've been the development of our young players and Kyle Lowry but even that is debatable. Unpredictable usage for our rookies, too long a leash for DeRozan, and no cohesiveness between BC & DC regarding the point guard situation until too late meant this is more or less (another) wasted season. Fuck.
