<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Here's what went down in top 25 college hoops action yesterday:

    (5) Gonzaga 62, St. Mary's 61 -- The AP reports: Gonzaga found a way to win at home again even on a night star forward Adam Morrison struggled. Sean Mallon's free throw with less than a second on the clock gave the fifth-ranked Bulldogs a 62-61 victory over Saint Mary's on Monday, extending the nation's longest home winning streak to 35 games... Morrison, the nation's leading scorer at 28 points per game, was in foul trouble much of the night and finished with 20 points on 7-of-20 shooting. J.P. Batista had 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Mallon, who averages 21 points less than Morrison, finished with 10 points.

    (7) Texas 65, Texas Tech 44 -- The AP reports: Even after P.J. Tucker pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds as part of No. 6 Texas' record rebound margin, he wasn't entirely satisfied. "We still missed a couple we should have had," the junior guard said after scoring 18 points to lead the Longhorns to a 65-44 victory over Texas Tech on Monday night. "It's just wanting to get rebounds. It's a mentality." Texas Tech had just two field goals over the final 9 minutes and was outrebounded 50-22. The rebound margin is the highest ever for Texas in the Big 12... LaMarcus Aldridge, who struggled the last two games with foul trouble, had 17 points and 11 rebounds -- his 11th double-double of the season -- while Kenton Paulino added 10 points for the Longhorns.
