As was expected, Averin Collier, New York's top rated prospect, committed to Syracuse today. He chose Syracuse over Pitt. Says he chose Cuse because of the chance to play RB almost immediately. Pitt was recruiting him mainly as a DB, but he wanted to play RB, and with McCoy there, he knew he was going to sit. Syracuse now has commitments from the top two players from New York.
