So if he's the power forward of the future, that must mean that Caleb Swanigan is going to have a career ending injury?
There properly going use Collins in spot this year. I think this year going be him getting stronger throughout this year. But who knows maybe Stotts will use him in back up Aminu next game. But the way Swanigan play tonight it be tough to keep him off the floor. I guess we will see next game.
Assuming he'll get better, it's still nauseating to see the 10th pick in a loaded draft, that you moved up to get, getting DNPCD and playing behind Meyers Leonar_
Leonard was the 11th pick from 5 years ago. Seniority, experience with the system, and bulging vanity muscles must all be taken into consideration.
Collins will get his chance eventually. A future Nurk/Collins frontcourt gives me a bulging vanity muscle.
He's 19 and a few games into his pro career. A rush to judgement by posters on a chatsite isn't going to affect whatever he's going to evolve to. Obviously a ways to go both physically and in his game but definitely he's got a high ceiling. We shall see but sometimes those not ready for prime time players turn out to be pretty good. STOMP
Stotts went 11 deep last night. Ed Davis is being too awesome to cut his minutes as the backup C. Looks to me like he and Leonard are vying for the garbage time minutes at C. For now.
Wrong sir, these forum message boards have a direct impact on players mental psyche and more importantly whether or not a player will sign in Portland as a free agent!
Wow on the short memories. I thought we covered it in detail right after draft day that this was pick for the future. Neil doubled down on drafting two players at the same position. You can't get both of them minutes at the same time. Seems like those who value being in the lottery the most have a harder time accepting that there is no longer much of a difference between the 6th pick and the 26th. (other than playing time because their team sucks more)
