The Colorado Ice started out with a safety on the Arizona Adrenaline and continued the pressure throughout the game. The Ice defense had three interceptions tonight one each from, Chase Vaughn (48), Corey Sample (9), and Josh Morris (6). Throughout the game Arizona's offense made some good down field throws for touchdowns, highlighting their receiving corps talents. This was not enough to stop the Ice defense, which has been strong throughout these last three wins. David Knighton (5) had a successful game completing four touchdown passes. Ken Witter (18) and Jason English (8) both had touchdown catches which sent the Ice to the locker room at halftime with a 15-14 lead. After the half, Knighton (5) was able to connect for two more touchdown passes and a shuttle pass to Duane Brooks (2) that would seal the win for the Ice at 36-26.
