(3-1)NY Giants at (2-1)Dallas. I?ve taken a lot of heat when I picked against the Giants. Actually, I took heat even when I picked the Giants. So there is no point trying to placate the G-men loyalist. Maybe I can incite them instead. Cowboys 27, Giants 6

You just picked that one to piss me off.... the 1 time u picked the Giants they won....!!!!

It is obvious he is a cardinals fan, he picks them every week. He is just getting back at giants for beating cardinals all those years they were in same division. Sportsboy = Bill Bidwell

I'm just glad he's starting to believe in my boys. I wonder if that'll jinx them this week. Hope not.

And the Cardinals might win, but with the 30th ranked run defense and facing Barlow, I hardly think they'll hold the 49ers to 6 points.

If hes a Cardinals fan, he must be Bill Bidwell, who else likes the Cards? Maybe its Dennis Green himself....maybe its Dan Dierdorff....I do like his ability to piss you off though GF1....

(2-1)Detroit at (4-0)Atlanta. Jim Mora, Part Deux(he?s not a Junior, because his middle name is different, but how do you differentiate him from his father?), is off to a fantastic start with the Falcons. He?s 4-0, and with a team that isn?t very good. The roll has to end sometime and the Lions are just the type of young-up-and-comers to do the job. Lions 31, Falcons 27

I can't stress enough how much I disagree with this one. This may be the only pick I don't agree with this week, but wow, I strongly disagree. Maybe Sportsboy will prove why he is the one writing the articles... Atlanta D is just to tough for the Lions.

Really? I actually have to agree with him on this. I picked this as one of my upsets this week. I think Detroit is a pretty strong team. The NFC North will see them in 2nd place at the end of the season.

Detroit is OK, but if I'm not mistaken, their RB is out of the game. Atlanta is a sack machine, and Harrington won't have time to make smart decisions. Maybe they have a chance if their second string RB is any good. I don't think Vick is as good as people say, but then again, he wins games, and that's what it's about. Detroit may finish second in the central, but I'm not sure if that says more about how good they are, or about how bad the central is (after the vikes of course) [IMG]

I did not know that the Lions starting RB is out. But then again, does it really matter? The Harrington/Williams hookup is starting to look like a good matchup. If the Falcons shadow Williams enough, they should be able to beat the Lions.

Well, it looks as if SportsBoy is becoming a bit of a sage, eh? I'm glad I went with him in my official pick of the week.
