You know 'Jerruh' has full control of the organization when you find yourself not believing any trade rumours or free agent speculation involving the Cowboys.
The Patriots and Randy Moss really aren't close to a new contract, although the Pats believe Moss will give them the option to match whatever deal he does receive on the open market. That makes sense because the clubs pursuing Moss will be limited because he wants to play for a contender. The most interesting rumor is Moss joining the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys can pay up, and wouldn't T.O. and Moss be interesting to watch, not to mention impossible to defend? Still sounds like Moss has a 50-50 shot of leaving.
I remember a couple of years ago, there was talk about Owens going to Oakland to join Randy Moss. Anyways, this has no chance of happening, but as an Eagles fan, I really wish something like this would go down. Having TO and Moss on the same team is trouble waiting to happen. I would actually start to feel bad for Tony Romo. This trade would only work out if the league allows the Cowboys to play with two football every snap

Most trade rumors and speculation is very deserving, as Jerry is a guy who likes to spend. After all, it's how we got 'our' 81 in the first place, and picked up Zach Thomas (although I feel indifferent about him coming to Dallas). My disbelief that this is happening has very little to do with Jerry, and more to do with the Patriots not letting Moss go, and Moss and TO's hypothetical chemistry. I'm also not sure how a FA rumor has anything to do with having control over one's team?

TO is the one with the suspensions.
As a Cowboys fan, I'd almost like to see this. On the field, I think that'd make them close to unstoppable. A trio of Moss/Owens/Witten would be ungodly scary, especially with a very good QB in Romo throwing to them. However, what kind of locker room would this be? The chemistry might not be there off the field, which could present plenty of issues.
Moss is gonna go where the money is good and where he knows he'll have a great shot at winning the Super Bowl....plain and simple. If its Dallas, then so be it. He could end up there, Green Bay, New England again, Denver, etc. Should be interesting to see what happens either way.
Plus which one is going to give up their number to the other one? Not going to happen. There's no way 81 gives it up to the 'other 81'
the both know if they are getting double teamed, it won't last long cause TO + double team = Moss open Moss + double team = TO Open Both Double Covered = Witten wide Open they would be fine with it
Owens/Moss seems like a disaster waiting to happen. The two guys would become competitive with each other at the expense of the rest of their team. TO is the kind of guy who likes to be the big fish in a small pond. As soon as Moss gets ahead of him in yardage, scoring, catches, in the first game, TO will begin yelling at his O Coordinator to throw it to him more. TO won't let us forget that he is a #1 receiver on any other team, and he will demand to be traded (in front of the media). Eventually, Moss will take his bait, and respond back to TO in his own immature way. Locker room meltdown, and lots of money tied up in 2 WR's.

In reality, I don't think that it's that simple. See my earlier reply.
TO would whine for a new contract. He's going to be a free agent next off season and if Dallas comes in and gives Randy Moss a huge contract, TO will want one too. It's just who he is. He won't settle for 2nd best on the team. Way to risky of a move for Dallas IMO and it would probably backfire. They'd be better off signing a guy like Donte Stallworth or Javon Walker if he is let go by Denver.
