<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Salim Stoudamire (6-1, Arizona) -- He is the best shooter in college basketball. Deep range, quick first step, and the ability to separate and shoot off the dribble make Salim a sure thing as far as off-the-bench scoring. He has a lightning fast release and has the confidence to shoot through slumps that only scorers have. Downside: Lute Olson reportedly told him after last season that he could transfer anywhere he wanted, as long as he left Tucson. Bottom line: If his attitude is right, Salim is a supreme talent. Nate Robinson (5-8, Washington) -- The best athlete in the draft. He can "windmill" dunk off one step under the basket. He's a tenacious on-ball defender with an incredible motor and a quality shooter, although he does not have consistent NBA range yet. He's explosive getting to the basketball. Downside: He's tiny, not a great ball handler and he is not for everybody. He will play in the League, though, for all of the reasons listed above, plus he always has a smile on his face, has a great attitude, and plays his butt off. Monte Ellis (6-2, Lanier H.S., Miss.) -- Ellis is a tremendous one-on-one scorer. He really has a feel for how to separate and create his own shot. The taller he is, the greater his chance of being drafted higher. He's skilled enough to bring the ball up and handle pressure, is solid shooter with decent range and has an average handle. Downside: Seemed disinterested at times in high school all-star games and he is not a point guard. He is 19 years old playing against younger competitors; let's see how he does against players who are older. Needs consistency on his long-range jumper. Louis Williams (6-2, South Gwinnett H.S., Georgia) -- Big-time shooter/scorer, who would be a perfect college 2-guard. He has a decent body although he looks more like a young college kid then he does a pro. Not as big as Ellis, but may be a better pure shooter. Downside: May be only 6-1, very little point-guard skill and he looks a bit lost when he doesn't have the basketball in his hands.</div> Read More
