As much as I hate Comcast, I've always loved that I could watch the blazers in hi-def... Well last night's power outage killed the audio and video from my cable box, i could still bring up the "guide" tho. So a call into customer service cant fix it, and now i'm stuck unable to watch the 'zers, except on chan 37 ....
Stop bitching. At least you can watch the game on TV and don't have to sit in front of a computer screen like myself (and most of us) do.
Hadn't thought about that. Guess I could try to stream in on a hooked up Laptop. I don't think I can get it to go through my PS2 or original modded Xbox. Had trouble getting the laptop hooked up in the past but it should be feasible.
I generally have to find a new one, but this one is live almost every game http://www.justin.tv/kingkongii the kennyg one is as well, but i don't remember the url.
I will echo the statements of others in this thread. I'll be on Justin.tv for the game tonight. God bless those guys for streaming the games. I've streamed it to my ps3 a few times, it works OK but you need to be a ways away from the screen for it to look decent.
FOOK Comcast. In fact, I just had a tech here yesterday b/c I was bitching so much about the piss-poor low-def feed they have on the NBA League Pass. His answer: "yeah, that's how it gonna look. That's how it's supposed to look." End of story, packed up and left. Since I'm out of state, I can see all of the Blazers' games - but they're all in low-def . . . actually, worse than low-def somehow. YouTube looks better than the shit I paid an extra $180 on top of my regular service for. Awe-sum!
I don't see stupid Comcast coming up with a deal anytime this season. They better get one done by next season.
Who is your provider? I have League Pass on DirecTV and almost every game is in HD. I used to have Cox but all they offered was non-HD on League Pass.
Comcast, of course. And that's precisely what I was trying to tell them on the phone. I KNOW for a fact that these games are available in HD and it's bad enough that I paid for this shit and it's not in HD. Beyond that, it's the crappiest looking low-def feed I've ever seen. Pisses the hell out of me to watch it but I can't afford to cancel the League Pass b/c I don't want to miss the games!!! I'll have to research DirecTV for next year.
I absolutely love it. The only downside of it is your locked into a contract, so if you plan on moving, or canceling service your service its very expensive.
I am going to pay for league pass at my brother's house in SoCal and then just watch em online up here. WIN!
I have a HD video card so I have a DVI to HDMI connection between my computer and my HDTV. If I make it full screen the pic isn't that great, but since I have a 67" HDTV I can leave it normal size and it looks fine on the tv and leaves me plenty of room to have this board up if I want. Sometimes someone will post a link that has the stream in a window that is free from anything else and I can resize the game window to larger than normal, but not full screen. Then I can make what would be about a 35" pic on my HDTV and get a great pic too.
