The topic of "comeback player of the year" arose on the CBS pregame and Chad Pennington got 3 votes. Donovan McNabb got 1. I was surprised that Rex Grossman wasn't mentioned (He would get my vote so far. Do you guys go with one of these or do you have an addition to the list.

Pennington would get my vote. The guy has had what? Three surgeries now? Took a major pay cut just to keep his job?

If he keeps playing lights out the way he has been, he should be a lock.

Chad Pennington, as long as he stays healthy and continues to play like he is, no doubt he will deserve comeback player of the year.

Sorry, Jets fans. I cursed Pennington with my statement.

Pennington can still win the award i think, but that game just showed what the Jets look like when Chad is not playing well... awful. Hes the most valuable player on the Jets no doubt.
