<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There is a kid in Washington with assets that make scouts drool. Six foot eleven, with legs the size of tree trunks, and arms that could be anchors. He runs with grace, and dunks with power, and he?s gaining more and more experience every day. He?s seen the best that the NBA has to offer, endured the emotional and physical bumps and bruises, and he?s still standing proud, stronger for his experiences.
Yet, that kid is no longer a kid. Kwame Brown is becoming a man and is enjoying a coming-of-age celebration to start 2004. Showing a variety of low post moves in the Wizards? second game of 2004, Brown had what was perhaps his finest game as professional. With a career-high 23 points and 11 rebounds against the visiting Bucks, the 21 year-old Brown made a strong case for insertion into the starting line-up.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">?I am getting consistent minutes every game, and now I am producing,? said Brown. ?It feels good. I?m not afraid to make mistakes. I can make a mistake and Coach (has the confidence in me) to allow me to make up for it with my play. I won?t find myself on the bench as a result of it.? </div>

Nice Article and it is true, He doesnt get benched for silly mistakes now, he is turning out to be the player we all thought he would, he is becoming more of a reliability down the stretch, he is now having plays called for him, before it was if he is good position, give him the ball if you want...kwame still has a lot of time to grow and could end up being a Jermaine Oneal or a Antawn Jamison.

Kwame delivered tonight. Posting 25 points to go along with 9 rebounds, and clearly out played Jermaine O'Neal. He put the Wiz on his back tonight and led them to a win over the #1 team in the East.

He always comes out against the Better PF's, its teh weaker ones he doesnt get fired up for, he is playing Zach Randolph tonight, i expect another good performance from him, with Kwame you dont expect a good performance every 5-8 games now, you expect a bad one, he is improving, and i love it, all 'Zards fans love it, that is twice this year he has outplayed Jermaine Oneal.

He's deffinatly going to be a solid player. He needs to spend some more time in the weight room. I do see him being a "Jermaine Oneal type player.

He spent time in the weight room this summer, added about 11 more pounds of muscle, he also grew about 2 inches...he is now an official 7'0...although he is listed at 6'11 i believe

i think kwame's improvement really came from his changed attitude and approach to the game this season. In the past, he's always got that potential, but after having a good game, he usually got content fast and got smothered in the next game, which led him to losing his confidence and that has a downside snowball effect on his performace. This season, he's changed his thing and he always comes back strong after a good game... guess he's starting to put that "never be satisfied" or "always prove yourself" attitude to his game on every single play out there on the court, which is getting scary... and i guess this has been the biggest and the most pleasant change everyone wants to see. There's still much time for him to prove why he got picked first and I think he will ultimately do this successfully. Right now, people are talking about how Carmelo and Bron are rivals like old-school Magic and Bird... I think soon we're gonna see Kwame-Boozer rivalry, which is outstanding, because they get to meet 4 times a year!! [IMG]

Kwame is a crazy player, and you cant just compare him to JO. Every player in the leagues holds his own. One day instead of sayin "oh, hes a Kenyon Martin type player" youll be sayin"hey dont he play like Kwame Brown?'"
