Last year, everything came together. Player moves worked very well. This year, the Cowboys are snake-bit. Almost every risk and decision they have made have come up craps. There are two moves that have proved to work out well. Keyshawn for Galloway was OK. The Testeverde move was not going to put us in the Superbowl, but it was a definite, reliable upgrade over Quincy. Everything else has worked horribly. Woodson went down, probably for the year, in preseason. Bickerstaff went down with an achilles injury, forcing us to pick up Eddie George, who hasn't worked out well at all. Julius Jones broke his shoulder and has been out most all of the season so far (I wonder if Eddie would have been more effective had Julius been carrying most of the load). Starting TE, Dan Campbell, out for the year earlier this year Dallas took a chance that Pete Hunter could take over as starting CB. Were they right? Who knows, he's out for the year. We drafted Thorton to back up Hunter. He's out for the year. Slot CB Mitchell never was able to come back from an ankle injury last year. Suprising for a 5th year player. Terry Glenn, our leading receiver, is out for at least a couple weeks now. Marcellus Wiley has been a free agent bust. After making some money last year, we sure are hitting craps this year.
