Billy King: "Maurice Cheeks and I are committed to do this. There's no one I want to see succeed more than Mo, because of the [pause] interesting tenure he's had with personnel, with having veterans, then having young guys, things not always meshing. I'm very proud of the way he dealt with the team starting 5-18, us making a major trade, keeping them organized and playing hard. This was a team that had been written off by many as dead, and at the end they still had hope of making the playoffs. There aren't a lot of people who could have kept a group together through all of that. A coach loses his team when the players stop listening, stop playing hard. These guys listened more, played harder. Somebody had to give them the direction to do that." -- Philadelphia Daily News

    Re: Committed to

I think Mo is the right coach for this team. The longer they all stick together the better they will get. He just needs to get Louis Williams in the game more often.
