I think you are making wayy to many point less posts , i would say the only problem lakers arent as good as last year is cause of Shaq, he is one of the 50 greatest players in history in his rookie year he had like 22 ppg, and he had 20 ppg since then, and miami is doing so well with him so thats why the lakers arent good as last year
I agree with Yugo. This is a pointless thread. Odom hasn't been playing great, and when Karl was around he was a solid contributer. I wouldn't say that this year's Kobe is incredibly better than last years, just his opportunities have increased. Last year's Lakers when they had a healthy roster would destroy this year's Lakers. No point in discussing it.
Comparisons can be made in a few years, once the team starts forming chemistry, trusting each other, etc. I guess this could be a legit thread, but you can't really compare these two squads right now. THREAD CLOSED
