Where do you feel he is among the following names?-Yi Jianlian (Next great Asian)-Brandon Wright (Compared to Bosh)-Al Horford -Joahkim Noah (Could have went top 3 last year)

I think he is best compared to Brandan Wright, but not as good IMO. And this is coming from a die-hard LSU fan. If I were to rank him in this list, he'd be just above or right below Al Horford. Oh, and I wouldn't rank Yi at the top.

I was just listing them. Thats why I put dashes rather than numbers.

IMO, hes not better than any of them. Of course with the exception of Wright and maybe Yi, hes got the most potential. But if Ty Thomas(from college a year ago)came out with these players this year...I would probably pick them all except Noah over him. And I would only pick Thomas over Noah because of the potential.

I think Tyrus would be 2nd behind Brandan Wright, who will just be an offensive stud...Tyrus can block shots, he's athletic as hell....once he gets stronger, and maybe improves on his jumpshot, he's gonna post some awesome digits.

I hated the idea that the Bulls would mold him at SF...to me, he needs to stay in the post and develop there, 6'8 or not. He's athletic enough to overcome that height problem and could eventually be more like a Stromile Swift or Kenyon Martin (more successful I hope).

I'd rank those 5 like this:1) Brandon Wright2) Tyrus Thomas3) Al Horford4) Yi Jianlian5) Joakim NoahWright and Thomas are going to be good, and I believe Thomas is going to be better than a lot expect. He got drafted by the perfect coach and perfect team that will bring the best out of him. You'll be seeing more blocked shots as he learns the tendencies in the NBA. He'll be adding more muscle he finishes maturing and gets in the weight rooms. He has a very high ceiling, and I think he's on the best team for him to accomplish his projections.
