Blazers offense is really something special. When Dame has help, they could be unbeatable. Problem is, they can't guard a chair. But...The lakers can't shoot... This could be a 7 gamer....and knowing this team, it most likely will come down to the last possesion.
Congrats! Terrible season but somehow right there in the playoffs. All playoffs on a neutral court! Lakers obviously a big favorite. If the Blazers can keep these games within single digits half way through the 4th we got a chance.
I have to feel like we can. All of our games have been close in the bubble and the Lakers shooters are struggling. I don't know if we can beat them, but I think they will all be competitive. and yes congrats Blazers! Another year in the playoffs is always a good thing, and if we can get fully healthy next year and maybe make a couple changes, I'm liking our chances next season to make playoffs and maybe make a deep run?
Pelicans swept us from the playoffs two years ago. We avenged that after beating the Mavs, eliminating the Pels in the process. Suns eliminated us in the playoffs ten years ago. We avenged that after beating the Nets, eliminating the Suns in the process. Grizzlies eliminated us in the playoffs five years ago. We avenged that after giving them the boot today. Let's avenge our playoff losses against LAL!
Indeed the Lakers shooters are struggling, but our defense tends to be a cure for struggling shooters. And for the love of God, we need to get our shit together in the 3rd Q.

When the season first got cancelled/postponed I really was not that upset because I thought there was no way we were going to make the playoffs anyways... Now I think the postponed season was perhaps the best thing that could have happened and I'm proud of how the blazers played to finish out the season. I couldnt be more excited to start the playoffs facing the Lakers for a chance for a big upset! Go Blazers!!!
I agree with all of this. Even after the bubble schedule came out I assumed it was going to be highly unlikely we could be the 9th seed, let alone the 8th seed in the play-in game. While the games weren't always pretty, we're going to get at least 13 Blazer games, they're 7-2 so far, and I'm watching basketball in August. I'm not going to complain!
