Sam Cassell made the all-star team today! Big hats off to him as he's having a monster season, too bad spree didn't make it also.
Cassell finally got his due, and I must say... its ABOUT DAMN TIME. On the Sprewell note... I woulda love to see him, he really made a run for the spot in this past month, it woulda been crazy to have 4 Timberwolves in the ASG. Hahaha, oh well. I wanna see Cassell throw an alley hoop to KG in the game.
This should be Cassell's third or fourth all star game...finally getting some credit, he is going to come out and play his best to prove that he should of been here before.
Great to see him getting the recognition he deserves. Its about time. Hopefully he wont let us down now. Im sure he won't.
This is so great....someone so deserving of the spot. Getting his props and recognition. One of the better dream moments in the NBA. He may not have been voted as a starter, but this is definitely a great way to start at his new home in Minnesota. Congrats Sam I Am, knock 'em dead and show them why KG and Spree as well as the fans love you so much. Also why you're one of the best damn point guards ever!
Cassell is deserving of this recognition, because he has played better than point guards such as Steve Nash and Tony Parker.
The numbers Sam has put up this season is incredible. 21.3PPG along with 7.5 Assists a game.... No question he is worthy of a spot, should have been a starter this season too. I hope he gets more minutes than Stevie!!!
