finally! whooo. He got his 300th win, can't wait till he leaves next year.

 

He's an honest guy.</p>

His priority was to accomplish this and now he's done it.</p>

The good news is that he's pitching pretty well right now.</p>

Yeah...at the least, it's going to be a quite a while. I don't know if Johnsons got enough left to play long enough for another 16 wins. Next closest active player is Mussina, and he's still 54 away.</p>

I doubt anyone will get there again.</p>

Someone would have to play 25 years the way things are now, and even then it might be tough. </p>

 

I think the Unit still has a chance. Of course his chances got hurt when he wasn't allowed to chomp on amphetamines.

If he can stay healthy, he's got a pretty good shot. But that is a big if at this point.

How's he getting 16 wins?</p>

He's 44 and he just had back surgery.</p>

He should just retire. He's a lock first-ballot HOF anyway.</p>

 

I think RJ can give it another year+. I mean there's a chance he could win 16 in one season with Arizona. He is still a dominant NL pitcher. Obviously, like has been said, he'd have to stay healthy. </p>

Moose is very iffy. 54 wins isn't hard to reach in 4 years when you pitch for the Yankees (normally anyways). However, I don't really see him reaching that.</p>

I would have liked to see Pedro get there as he absolutely had the stuff to do it, but unfortunately he couldn't stay healthy. </p>

Yeah, I don't think the Moose or RJ has much of a chance of getting to 300.</p>
