Well, he's actually been putting in solid performances off the bench as of recent. For the month, he's averaging 9.7ppg, 2.75apg, while shooting 45% from the floor and 43% from the arc. That's not too bad for a 6th man if you ask me.
Conley is still a project player. He's actually really improved his jump shot this season and is being a lot more aggressive. From what I've seen for Conley to have a good game he has to have confidence. He's actually been playing much better coming off the bench.
^^ That he has. He doesn't play as tight as he did when he first started for the Grizz. Conley does however needs to stop holdin on to the ball while the clock ticks down to nothing. He did that a few times in last night's loss to the Spurs.
Yeah, I don't remember if it was in the end of the forth or the end of the first OT, but there was a wide open Mayo at the three point line and Conley held on to it the whole time, and eventually it just turned to a bad shot for Marc Gasol.
That was the second OT I think. I think Conley has been watchin too much Carlos Arroyo. A PG's job is to set up the offense through ball movement and makin sure your shooters are where they need to be in order to take the shot.
