What do you guys think? I love these theories that secret societies control everything. Also, there are theories that the Roman Catholic church controls everything as well. I;ve read that people have said Jews control everything, which I find funny.

    Illuminati

Also, if you know of any sites or conspiracy theories, post them here. UFO, World or anything.

There is a very good video called " Angels And Demons that explains secret societies and The Illuminati.

I also find interesting, that we all have 2 common ancestors (Adam & Eve), so we are all related.

Also, think about this. We have had pyramids, the sea split by Moses and the Plagues happen, but how come they don't happen today? There is research that states, the 7 plagues were just luck and that all that stuff was due to the year that was. I'll be looking for sites about this stuff, but you guys look too. It's interesting shit.

This isn't just what Dan Brown wrote. This is some crazy shit if you really think about. And lets please keep this shit on topic, even though all this stuff is to some of you crazy or stupid.

Yeah these things interest the hell out me.

There's an interesting one we discussed in history a while ago, I have no idea how we came to the topic, but it was interesting as hell.

I only remember a gist of it, but there's this Indian tribe (forgot the name) that lived in New Mexico years ago. Their city was built in the middle of the desert, and the amazing thing is, their building were all lined up straight, and parallel to each other. If you are on a plane and look down, you'd see straight lines of buildings. How they did this thousands of years ago just amazes me.

There are also high mountains surrounding the city, with inclines at almost at 90 degrees. At the top of these mountains, somehow the Indians were able to place one hundred pound boulders (forgot the exact weight, but it was heavy) on each. How did they do this? How were they able to climb mountains that steep? And how were they able to carry those boulders with them? My teacher said that with modern day technology, cranes and stuff wouldn't even be able to do this.

They also built this thing somewhere in their city. It was basically a huge circle with two miniature circles inside. I forgot exactly what these circles did, but apparently everyday, the sun would shine on the circle at the same time, every day. And during eclipses or something, right before the sun would get blocked, it lets out two beams that shine exactly on the two miniature circles.

Also, these Indians came from the North to New Mexico. Historians were able to trace their footsteps and find clues on where they went and how they traveled. Then, on one day, for some reason the Indians just left. They didn't pack up, didn't take anything. The left everything in the village and just left. Historians traced their steps, and they walked a couple of miles from their town, and just vanished. No trace, no evidence in sight. Right in the middle of the desert.

    Weird and interesting as hell...

This thread's hitting like a hundred different tangents at once.

I have a hard time believing the Vatican runs everything. Even when they really did run everything back in the Middle Ages, they were horribly incompetent. The Jews on the other hand.... (I joke of course).

It's amazing the mathematical knowledge that a lot of ancient societies held. In the Eastern hemisphere, much of that knowledge completely disappeared after the collapse of Rome and we tend to assume that the subsequent re-discovery of it was when that knowledge really originated.

I used to be really into 9/11 conspiracy theories. Not so much at the moment.

My sociology teacher told the class that he watched some documentary where it was discussed that Britain is planning to declassify all UFO documents, videos etc. The United States would follow shortly after. Apparently, the plan is to get the public accustomed to the idea of life outside Earth...perhaps because Aliens have made contact with our governments, already. Sounds a bit quacky if you ask me, but hey, so do plenty of other theories regarding Aliens.

Palestinians always get the shitty end of the stick. This is no conspiracy.

For my international business class (history of modern globalization), I get extra credit if I watch A Crude Awakening - History of the Modern Oil Crash. He said it was available on iTunes.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0776794/

    Good reviews.

Loose Change was decent. I mean some of it has to be true, there were clearly some explosions inside of the buildings.

That's why they are referred to as crazy conspiracies often. You never know, but I'm pretty damn sure I do.
