    Constructive Criticism Guidelines< READ BEFORE REVIEWING!!

    Okay, it's come to my attention that in certain posts, members arnt really giving an explanation for their criticism. It is impossible for a designer to improve their work if they are not getting appropriate feedback on the downside of their designs.

    <ul>
    [*]Start off with the good stuff about the sig. i.e The Background, Render etc.

    [*]Get to the negative points. If you dont like text, background,render effects then say so and WHY! Many people just say, "I dont like it" without giving any reason. If you give a reason, the designer knows where they have gone wrong. Also give tips on how to improve and what way would suit the sig.

    [*]End in a positive note such as, "Keep on trying" etc. etc.

    [/list]

    Hopefully this will help the designers know where they are going wrong and they can quickly spot their weaknesses.

    I'd read a few recently that were like this, I got a couple of replies with no C&C and I'd thought to myself why they bother because it really doesn't help at all.

    Nice post, Flight, hopefully it clears up form now on.

    Thats the the problem sometimes, people will never go into depth with their criticism and it leaves designers stuck to know what they have done wrong. Now.. If I can figure out a way to sticky this then it will be good lol
