The Niners can thank the Rams for their first win of the season for the second staright year. After sweeping them last year, the 49ers continued their dominance thanks to another spectacular game by Frank Gore and Alex Smith coupled with a solid defensive effort. The 49ers have proved to the NFL so far that they can definately contend with teams this year. They are not a playoff team this year but they are gonna put up a fight and make life hell for NFL teams.Watch out as they could be the team of the future with Alex Smith and Frank Gore making big plays in their sophomore seasons!
I'm glad to see Alex Smith progress. It looks like he may be a keeper. It appears AS is better suited for Norv's offense scheme.
I knew I wasn't insane to have Frank Gore and Antonio Bryant on my sleepers list this year. 49'ers have been looking good!

If only the Niners had gotten...AJ Hawk and the Packers had gotten Vernon Davis! It would have been so much better for the both of us!:crying:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I dont consider either players as sleepers.</div> That's because you, like me, know way more about football than you should... I bet if you surveyed every fantasy football team in the country, Antonio Bryant went undrafted in 95+% of leagues and Frank Gore was a 7th round pick or later. You and I, of course, had both rated much higher. Thus...sleeper.
yea the 49ers are finally looking liek they can climb out of their hole the future looks bright over there with Smith, Davis, Bryant and Gore. Now all they need is a defense
