After EliteXC: Heat, Seth Petruzelli told reporters that he was being offered a bonus to engage in a stand-up battle with Kimbo Slice. He has since backtracked on his comments, likely due to pressure from ProElite officials. Now news is breaking that Ken Shamrock was offered a similar bonus to stand with Kimbo. Since everyone with an iota of MMA knowledge was claiming that Ken's only chance in the fight was to get Kimbo to the mat and submit or TKO him, this would suggest that ProElite was trying to fix the fight outcome by imploring him monetarily to stand. If this is true it leads one to believe that ProElite was desperate before the event to guarantee Kimbo Slice's victory--and if that's the case, they must be in a full panic today after seeing their marquee fighter felled in 14-seconds. As everyone knows, fight fixing is illegal and could warrant an investigation. Whether EliteXC can withstand such an investigation, if it comes to that, as well as losing their best fighter's prestige, a reported $50-million debt, and only one event left on their television contract remains to be seen.

Buy up Elite XC and fire them in to WEC and keep the 185 and 205 divisions or a merger of Afflictino and EliteXC.. except EliteXC may have dammaged their brand name beyond repair!

Benji Radach, who fought Maurillo Ninja Rua on the main card is claiming that there was no mention of fight bonuses at all, not for KO, Sub of Fight of the night. He wishes there was because he thinks he could have won Ko or Fight of the Night. which is great an all, but it also contradicts what Seth Petruzelli was saying after back tracking on his comments about being paid to stand and fight with Kimbo. WHOOPS.
