Now that we made an absolute shocker of a trade who do we go after in the first?

I hope we land one of the LB's from Miami. I'd be fine with either Vilma or Williams. I'd rather williams just cus I heard Vilma has some nagging injuries that may be worse than first thought. If not I hope they get one of the top corners.

Yeah, New England would be foolish to do anything but take best available. With the team they have, they could build some sick depth. Dynasty could be a word used if Belicheck does it right.

If I was NE, I would package the two picks and move up. This way you save money by not having to pay 2 first round picks, and you get hopefully a better player. Vilma would look sick in Belichik's sytem

    Eagles,

Your right on one thing. They will do something to get rid of 32nd pick becuase they won't pay two first rounders but as I said in another thread I think they will trade down if anything to get some more picks for next season. Belichick and Pioli are always planning for the future and thats why we have a chance to become the next Dynasty in the NFL.

What I'm wondering, now that they have a solid running back, do the Patriots have ANY weaknesses?

It's funny that you say that. Remember last year, Bucs looked unbeatable, then what happened. What about the Rams after they won the first Super Bowl. Things will come up, and the PAtriots will not be as good as people think they will be. Here's a couple of thing that could go wrong.

    1. Tom Brady struggles, he has yet to go through a real rough patch in his career. Maybe similar to what McNabb had to go through last year, you never know how a player will handle it. They dont really have a backup QB, that needs to be adressed.

    2. Their division should be much better this year. Pennington should play all year, that will not be a cakewalk. AJ could end up being the next Tom Brady. The Bills are going to be the Bills

    3. Ty Law situation gets way out of hand. Players turn on Bellichik...highly unlikely

As you can see, a lot can go wrong. For the pats sake I sure hope that they dont think they have no weaknesses, cause they will get burned.

If our main concerns are Brady, improving division and Law then I'm not too worried. The injury bug seems to be the biggest killer for teams but the pats have proven to play through that before.

I'm not worried about Brady having a bad season. he threw 7 picks in the first 3 games last season and battled back quite nicely so I'm not worried if he struggles because he has proven time and time again that he can battle back from anything.

Our division is always tough on us so that will be no different than any other year. If anything like glenso said Injuries could be the problem. If we lose any of our OL I fear our depth is not good enough at that postion, though I thought that last year and it didn't seem to matter.

As for the pats thinking they have no weaknesses that is highly unlikely. Belichick would never let that happen. They have enough verterans to understand how quickly everything can change in the NFL so I think they will be able to handle this season better than the 2002 season.
