Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Corey Hart will have surgery to repair cartilage damage in his right knee next week and miss the remainder of the season. He had yet to play this year because of surgery on his left knee in January. The Brewers said Friday that Hart will undergo the surgery July 26 in Los Angeles. The 31-year-old Hart averaged 29 home runs over the last three seasons. In nine major-league seasons, all with the Brewers, Hart has hit .276 with 154 homers in 945 games.
