It's a real test of your ability. As for the sig... I don't like the text and the scanlines mess up the BG.

Then again I may be wrong. Yes, making your own brushes is tough but making a sig without someone elses brushes is a lot harder than making one with them. Especially for someone who uses heavily brushed BG's in a majority of his sigs.
