Im so glad for this trade. This gives them another great Defensive player alongside Freeny. This will really help the colts!
Great move by them but that D is still below average. They will go far in the playoffs like last year but once again won't win because of that D.
There pass defense might be pretty good with Doss, Freeney, Simon, ect. But they dont have any run stuffers on that team. So people will run all over them.
I think their defense is improving. Corey Simon and Dwight Freeney on the line will help the pass defense, by putting pressure on the quarterback. They also should have improved coverage with growing of Bob Sanders, Jason David, and Marlin Jackson. Another rising player is Cato June. If he can step up and be a Star Linebacker, the defense might be set. I don't think they really need more players. All they need is for their young players to grow and hold it down.
this addition wont get the colts much further, because from what I know of Simon, he has become lazy and put on alot of fat in weight after his probowl years and postseason preformanceshowever, i havent seen him on the field or heard what he has to say recently, so maybe he has prepared himself to bring more depth to his new teamits gonna be hard for the colts to work him in cuz he hasnt played a game for a while and they have a different style of defensemy prediction: he wont produce much for them this season
i am happy with him being with the colts now.. I think the defense is getting better now with freeney and now simon on line, that will give pressure to the qb even more.
this will be a big help for the colts middle with simon and triplett that is a good middle and regor helping in there too.
Wow....This move might singe-handely put the Colts in the SB. Ya if you look at stats you see the Colts give up alot of Pass yards. But teasm get alot of pass yards on them after they set up the run. I live in Indianapolis, i watch just about all of their games. Simon coming into this Dline will help out the run defense so much. AFC watch out.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Being a Titans fan it pains me to say it.. but.. the Colts are winning it all this year.
