Boston head coach Doc Rivers has admitted on a few occasions that he could leave the team after the season so he can spend more time with his family. Rivers insists he has not made a decision yet and even told ESPN.com's J.A. Adande that he hasn't talked to anyone about his future. "I won't even talk it over with my family," Rivers said. Sources tell ESPN.com's Marc Stein that former Celtics great Kevin McHale could return to Boston as the next head coach if Rivers departs. Stein writes: "Numerous NBA coaching sources believe that Danny Ainge's former teammate Kevin McHale will receive strong consideration for Rivers' post if the Celtics wind up needing a new coach next season. McHale has been working for NBA TV and TNT this season after a long stint with the Minnesota Timberwolves, which ended for McHale as a coach stripped of his front-office duties less than two years after trading Kevin Garnett to Boston in July 2007." Question for Celtics fans...if KG and Ray Ray win another championship this year, are they considered "all-time Celtics"? Or are they Hired Guns? Does it even matter if they win or lose? I mean, will someone be debating 10 years from now among Bird, McHale and KG who the greatest forward in Celtics history is? I mean, I get Pierce...he's been there over 10 years. But without KG and Ray, you guys aren't sniffing the playoffs the last couple of years. Just curious
