There was big talk around the trade deadline that the Magic and Celtics were talking about sending Pierce to Orlando. It was pretty big and we had a few threads about it on here. Well now Pierce is saying that if Boston doesn't pair him up with some talent, he is going to demand a trade. Could Orlando work out a deal for him this time around? Would we shift our focus from Shard to Pierce? All I know is that these next couple of weeks are going to be very interesting with players like Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, Paul Pierce, and Shawn Marion apparently on the block.

I wouldnt mind havin Pierce on our squad, but his contract is enormous like Vince Carters. Plus what would we trade for him? They'll probably want young talent and future draft picks.

In order for this to work theyd probably want someone like Darko(but they already have Al Jefferson),Trevor Ariza, or Jameer Nelson.
Then of course theyd want future picks, which we already missed out on this year. Only way i see this happening if we somehow slipped Grant Hill in the equation.

I still say resign Darko and sign Gerald Wallace/Reshard Lewis.
