Think about it. Several of the Bobcat's losses have been EXTREMELY close games, and they are only going to get better as the season goes on and their chemistry and experience goes up, not to mention culling the bad players from their team and setting up the rotation. Do you think that, in this East, the Bobcat's could make the playoffs?

I don't see why not, they are capable of snagging at least an 8th seed.

Well, right now they are behind the Sixers, Raptors, Bucks and Nets for the 8th seed...13th in the conference, out of 15 teams.

In the prediction thread (wherever that went), I was the first to predict that the Cats would make the playoffs...but it was just for bragging rights, JUST IN CASE it was possible, but I don't know. It all depends on Emeka...but honestly, I believe those four teams I mentioned above will stay ahead of the Bobcats throughout the season.

If the Bobcats can start winning the close games, it's very possible. A lot of their losses have been by around the 5 point margin, and for that matter, all those games have been winnable. If they can continue to stay close to opponents and learn how to take control down the stretch, get a lead, and sustain a lead, they could do it. This is a pretty good team that teams look at for an easy win, and quite frankly, it's never an easy win. If they just learned how to close out games, they could make the playoffs. However, I don't believe they will this year. The team is too young and hasn't quite meshed together entirely yet. I might look for them to make a push for it, like last years Cavs, but never quite get there.

You've gotta be kidding me. Look, I really like the Bobcats. They hustle like no other, and I LOVE their heart and determination. They are a lot better than anyone thought, and they are not even the worst team in the league (hawks are, IMO). But playoffs? No way. Not happening.

BTW realdealbneal, I hate the Lakers, but that's a really nice signature you have.

Haha, thanks. It's kinda choppy on some of the edges because I saved it as a .gif (I'll have to fix that soon), but hey...I'll make you a Lakers sig if you'd like. [IMG] jk
