This thread is just idle speculation & wild conjecture on my part.

Lets say that Quinn starts to free fall i.e Lineart & Aaron Rogers. Further, suppose things aren't all rosy in Hotlanta for Ron Mexico.

Even though, Arthur Blank is #7's biggest supporter would Petrino draft Quinn to run His rather complex offense. After all, the Dirty birds only have a QB and half on their roster now.

Or, does Petrino wait until next year and hope for Brohm?

I think it's too early for Petrino to sit Vick. The best scenario is for Vick to suck and the Falcons to lose early, then for Vick to get dinged and his replacement to come in and win. Then again, the Falcons haven't been to the playoffs in two years, but their fans still think Vick is the "most dangerous weapon in the NFL." I'm just glad I'm not Petrino.

I know Zackman will be rooting for Vick's backup.

    Not all Georgians are nuts.
