Are we allowed to trade for Darius Miles that way we can bench him and make sure he doesn't play 10 games? That would be pretty funny if we were able to do that but I think that would probably violate some NBA rule

Bill Walker or Sam Cassell will get their 15th spot.

Miles won't be a Celtic this season unless they really do want to screw over the Blazers. He's only played 3 minutes again tonight in a game without Garnett, Pierce, or Ray Allen.

His career is over whether he plays in 10 games this season or not.

Haha, I like the way you think, as unrealistic as I'm sure it is.

I've been following Miles as well this preseason and he has definitely not impressed. From what I've seen, the only possible way the Celtics would put Miles on the roster is for the sole purpose of f'ing Portland, and I just don't see that happening since we're in different conferences. Miles hasn't done anything that would lead me to believe he'd be picked up by any other team, either.

A Miles quote from a different thread.

Even Darius knows it is over. I wish him the best, and I hope he has invested wisely.

Honestly though, I wish him the best as well. As much as I've hated him for years, I'd actually like to see him make a comeback if it didn't hurt my teams plans. I think he has changed.

He's not a bad guy. He used to roll through our neighborhood in that car. My girls loved it and he'd honk that LOUD horn and laugh and wave. He was even approachable and nice at Cold Stone Creamery over the past few years when we would see him there.
