<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>San Francisco Chronicle - The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that the tumultuous relationship between Chris Webber and former Head Coach Don Nelson has been patched up enough for the team to consider signing the free agent. "If it works, it's only because of Nellie and Chris talking," the source told the Chronicle. "That's the key, but that's been quite a few years (in the making) and a lot of growing."</div> Source I heard about this during last night's game. But could Webber keep up with the pace?
Probably Webber's agent trying to get a better bid for Webber's services. The Warriors would be the worst fit for him.

I'm guessing Mullin is helping Aaron Goodwin, Webber's agent, to get Webber's price up. No surprise either that Goodwin is also Gary PAyton's agent and we know GP to W's rumors were swirling a while back too. You should also note that Matt Barnes is represented by Goodwin so maybe Mully is looking to do some favors for Goodwin and in return get a nicer deal for Barnes in the offseason. FWIW he also represents Damon Stoudamire, who is about to be bought out, and Mullin allegedly tried to trade for him in the offseason. I really don't think Webber would be a good fit here either. Hes old, slow, unathletic, can't defend to save his life, rebounding isn't very good anymore, his outside shot is very sketchy, and hes not going to play on the block.
