This looks like a great site!
In nine days the Bobby Petrnio era begins at Flowery Branch, GA. It'll be good to be able to sink our teeth into football after all that's gone on with Michael vick this offseason. There's plenty of subplots to examine too, such as Jimmy Williams fighting to start at safety and how Vick performs in the new offense among others.
As we get into training camp there'll be plenty of news to share. It should be fun!

Hey..
All we've heard about this offseason are the happenings at Vick's cousins home. There has been very little talk of Petrino and the new changes he will make to the team. At the very least, training camp should shed some light on some of these questions.

I am curious to see how the change in OL philosophy goes & will Joe Horn stabilize the WR corp?
Petrino is what the 3rd or 4th coach to try and make Vick an actual QB.

The opinions & questions raised in thepost above were mine. I did not realize you could post in as a guest.
Geez, BA, it looks like you nearly broke the board!
I don't like Petrino's chances of turning Michael Vick into an actual forward passing threat, but it's so early that I hate to start dogging him already.

I think I remember Petrino saying he wanted to install a power running attack and move away from using the smaller, quicker linemen that Alex Gibbs preferred.. but they didn't do a whole lot in the off season to change their personnel, so I'm not sure anymore if they are going to go away from that.
Michael Vick actually played the best ball of his career with Dan Reeves as head coach. I actually feel kinda sorry that Jamarcus Russell has to start his career working with Greg Knapp - I hope he doesn't hurt him. Or eat him.

That collective of Mensa members that is ESPN's NFL "experts" seem to think The OL will be ATL's impact rookie this season.
I too recall Petrino mentioning a change in philosophy @ 1 point
