Girl power was the story of the day at the Northwest Nationals when two women -- Courtney Force and Erica Enders -- won in the pro classes on the same day for the first time in NHRA history.

Courtney Force, a rookie and the 24-year-old daughter of 15-time Funny Car champion John Force, earned the first victory of her career, defeating Matt Hagan in the finals at Pacific Raceways.

Enders, 28, won for the second time this season, defeating Jason Line in the Pro Stock final. One month ago in Chicago, Enders became the first woman ever to win in the Pro Stock class.
