I don't personally know anyone on the board, but I think you're out pricing a lot of us. $1500 for a few hours of entertainment (poor entertainment) seems like too much of a pill to swallow.
not sure yet, maybe rock n' fish. yardhouse is usually too busy but if i get there early enough, maybe grab an appetizer there at the bar. edit: maybe wolfgang puck, my cousin just moved here, so give him some california pizza and i like the stuff there. all depends on traffic and waits. depends what time i get down there, coming from the westside so that's always unpredictable and I have to pick up my cousin near downtown too. I should probably be there hopefully around 630ish.
yup. I'll be driving 40 miles+ just to get downtown (taking a roundabout way to avoid traffic). everything is a shit down here, everything is so far from each other.
I remember when I was visiting my brother in the middle of summer at like 11pm I was stuck in stand still on the 5. I was pissed.
oh yeah, this is if I take the usual route: the red route on the 10 freeway. red means its not really moving, maybe 5-10mph. this is my "shortcut" 405 north to the 118 to the 210 to the 2 to downtown....basically 3x the distance, but I'd rather be going 80mph than 5mph.
