Gramatica wins the game for the cowboys with a 48 yard field goal with six seconds left in the game. He had 3 made field goals for the game from 35, 42, and 48 (missed first kick from 48). After letting Mike Vanderjagt go after signing him to a 3 year, over 5 million dollar contract, many questioned Parcells decison, even T.O. Does this kicker who took a year off from the game seem to have completed the Dallas team?
He's a pretty good kicker... I was suprised he was available. I'm glad he could make a clutch kick for us, but I don't want to get ahead of myself. This would be pretty incredible if Romo and Gramatica were the two that brought us to the top.
Which Gramatica? Doesn't really matter, none of the 3 are an answer to your problems. I think he'd be alright for the rest of the season but I hope they get someone else for next year.
Keep in mind that Parcells switched kickers midseason the last two times he coached his team to a Super Bowl victory (1986 and 1990).It is still too early to say whether Gramatica solves their kicking woes, but he's off to a good start and certainly redeemed himself for missing that kick on the opening drive. And the only reason T.O. questioned the release of Vanderjagt was because he developed a pretty good friendship with Vanderjagt.

^Yeah but he didn't switch a kicker at a key point, when they were obviously headed to the playoffs last season like those 2 Super Bowl years, lol.
Anyone see his first atempt, haha. I guess he made up for it, well kinda. He wouldn't have had to sink the clutch kick if he had bad the one earlier.
TO's only friend on the team was Vanderjagt, now hes gone, lmao. But Gramatica should be good. Vanderjagt would have missed that kick yesterday
