Right now yes. I think he's proven that he can win in the NFL. It's easy to blame the HC every year for problems, but the front office budgeting and decision making can be equally as bad. I think he will surprise some people this year. Plus it's going to be a whole new staff that hopefully will bring more to the table then Tim Lewis (your new boy) did the last few seasons.
I honestly was one that though he was on the way out just because maybe his style was getting old but obviously he is the unquestioned man and though he is a great coach I still think they need someone fresh to get the fire going in Pittsburg. Though he has plenty of talent to succeed this season and be a playoff team I just don't think he has what it takes to put a team of your talent level over the top.
well.. we have the 5 mystery man... to make your nice prediction correct we need to ohhh... lose 10 consecutive games.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (MysteryMan)</div><div class='quotemain'>Pittsburgh just need a real Qb instead of Maddux.</div> LOL on the 10 consecutive games, but at least give him credit Pittblkgld - he is batting .500 anyway.....
Cowher is a great coach, I can't think of any other coach in the NFL who has had to deal with what Cowher has had to since 95'. If he would have had a better QB than O'Donnell or Stewart, he wins at least 1 Super Bowl.
yeah he does... i was reading on nfl.com he has gotten rookie of the week 4 weeks in a row now... he is looking very good
Yes, and he got Offensive player of the week as well. He's played well. Now on to his biggest test....
